A SEAL's Salvation è un libro molto, molto carino, da leggere tutto d'un fiato. Grazie al personaggio di Genna mi sono fatta un sacco di risate, un vero peperino in gonnella, che quando si mette in testa qualcosa va dritta per la sua strada e il " povero" Brody, non ha mai avuto chance con lei per riuscire a resisterle.
Dovunque il Navy SEAL "Bad Ass" Brody Lane decida di andare, i guai lo seguono. Come prima cosa è stato cacciato dalla sua cittadina natale anni prima, per essere stato beccato in atteggiamenti poco appropriati con Genna Reilly, la figlia dello sceriffo. Adesso Brody sta per trovarsi davanti a un reale pericolo. Non originato dalle lettere infuocate che sta scambiando con Genna, ma il tipo di problema che può rimandare a casa un soldato con ferite sia nel fisico che nell'anima.
L'intera vita di Genna è stata orchestrata dalla sua famiglia: il giusto lavoro, i giusti amici... Basta! Il ritorno di Brody porta con sé la possibilità di realizzare i suoi desideri più proibiti, stuzzicandoli, per poi renderli reali in carne e ossa. Non si aspettava di ritrovarsi davanti un soldato dallo sguardo distante, che si tiene in disparte dal resto del mondo. Ma questa brava ragazza sa esattamente come fare per riportare in vita il "cattivo ragazzo" che è in lui.
Ammetto che la trama non è originalissima, ma i personaggi e la loro storia rendono speciale il racconto.
Brody è un po' taciturno e introverso di Genna, ma il termine "sexy as hell" calza perfettamente per lui.
Per Genna dire che è determinata è un eufemismo, si è messa in testa Brody Sin da ragazzina e lui deve essere.
Il tempo li ha cambiati, fatti crescere, ha inferto delle ferite, ma l'attrazione tra loro due non è mutata, non si limita solo a un capriccio.
Gli ostacoli ci sono e Brody ci mette del suo per crearne anche di più.
Devo dire che se all'inizio il padre di Genna era veramente insopportabile, poi si è ripreso alla grande, stupendomi parecchio.
Non parliamo poi del fatto che devo essere aumentata di qualche chilo solo immaginandomi i dolci preparati da Genna, deliziosi.
Lo consiglio con tutto il cuore per chi vuole trovare un libro leggero, divertente, hot e che al termine della lettura non lascia insoddisfatti o peggio ancora delusi.

A SEAL's Salvation is a very, very nice book, I read it in a few hours. Thanks to the character of Genna I made lots of laughts, she's a real high-spirited girl, a little naughty, that when she puts something in mind goes straight on her way, and the "poor" Brody, never got the chance to be able to resist her.
Where navy SEAL "Bad Ass" Brody Lane goes, trouble follows. Being run out of his hometown years ago for misbehaving with Genna Reilly—the sheriff's daughter—was one thing. Now Brody is about to step into real danger. Not the suggestive letters he's been exchanging with Genna, but the kind of trouble that can send a soldier home injured and broken inside…
Genna's entire life has been orchestrated by her family. The right job. The right friends. Enough! Brody's return offers the promise of lust-filled pleasures. Of flesh teased and tasted. She's not expecting to find a soldier with distant eyes who has secluded himself from the world. But this good girl knows exactly how to bring a bad boy back to life….
I must say that the plot is not very original, but the characters and their story make it special.
Brody is a little taciturn and introverted, very different from Genna, but the term "sexy as hell" fits perfectly for him.
For Genna say is certain is an understatement, she put on her head since he was a child that she wanted Brody, and Brody must be.
The time has changed them, made them grow, leaving scars, but the attraction between the two of them has not changed, is not limited only to a whim.
There are obstacles and Brody puts himself to create even more.
I must say that if at the beginning Genna's father was truly unbearable, he surprised me a lot, and I loved him too.
I think that I have to be increased by a few pounds just imagining the desserts prepared by Genna, delicious.
I recommend this book with all my heart for those who want to find a nice book, fun, hot sex and that at the end the reading does not leave unsatisfied them or even worse let them down.
